I began my musical studies at an early age, focusing on professional practice, approaching repertoire which ranges from classical to contemporary.
After graduating from the Conservatorio Superior in Castilla y León, Spain, in 2011, I went into specialized orchestral training in the “Master de especialización orquestal”, Escola de Altos Estudios Musicais, Santiago de Compostela (Galicia, Spain).
Continuing with the orchestral training, I moved to Milan one year later.
There I focused on opera and ballet repertoire for two years, supported by a scholarship from the Academia del Teatro alla Scala.
While my formative period, I was member of many youth orchestras, such as the Orquesta Joven de la Sinfónica de Galicia, and the Joven Orquesta de Castilla y León or NJO.
Besides that, I also attended masterclasses from great teachers such as Peter Bruns, Roel Dieltiens, Suzana Stefanovic, Ferenc Rados, and Thomas Demenga.
Once in the professional stage, I have collaborated with many orchestras as well, including Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, Real Filharmonía de Galicia or Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala.
During this time achieving experience, I could work together with conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Ádám Fischer, Lionel Bringuier, Jesús López Cobos, and Vasily Petrenko.
To increase my skills as a performer, I became a member of the contemporary music ensemble Giorgio Bernasconi, in Milan; where I developed my competences in the XX century music.
As a result of this meaningful experience, I decided to pursue the path of the performance of new repertoire.
That was the reason that made me move to Austria in 2017 where I studied a master’s degree in “Performance Practice in Contemporary Music”, guided by Klangforum Wien’s professors, at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst, in Graz.
As a contemporary musician, I have worked with composers like Jennifer Walshe, Matthew Schlomowitz, Georg Friedrich Haas, Gerd Kühr, Beat Furrer, Klaus Lang, Iris ter Schiphorst, Martin Schüttler, and Simon Steen-Andersen.
Within my projects, I take part in ensembles such as Zeitfluss, Schallfeld or Vertixe Sonora.
In addition to this performative activity, I develop my own ideas focusing on both, the pedagogy of the new music and events/concerts which take place in festivals in different European cities, for instance: Festival Resis, Ciclo de Conciertos del Conservatorio Superior de Castilla y León, Festival da Musica Electroacústica or MicroFest.
